Brewer In Greenland To Offer Beer Made From Arctic Ice Cap

A brewery in Greenland has announced plans to produce beer using pure water, from the Arctic ice cap, believed to have been frozen for over 2,000 years.

A report by BBC said the Inuit microbrewery claims it will melt water from the ice cap that is free of minerals and pollutants.

Santas Say Green Christmas Trees Are Too Dull, Want More Colorful Trees

Santas attending the annual World Congress of the Father Christmases have called Monday for more colorful Christmas trees and said the traditional green-colored trees are too dull.

Vibeke Larsen, spokesman for the Congress said, "This year, the Santas want to be trendy. They seem to be tired of the green Christmas tree, which they find too monotone, and want a bit of color, gaiety and renewal next to the fireplace."

World's Oldest Condom On Display In Austria

A museum in Austria has put on display a condom made from pig intestine. The Tirolean County Museum said it is the oldest surviving condom in the world.

Museum curators said the reusable condom dates back to 1640. It is complete with the original users manual that is written in Latin.

A team of researchers have discovered an ancient link with an animal long gone.

The scientists from Uppsala University in Sweden have uncovered a strand of DNA, believed to be 400,000 years old.
