The Hungarian Interior Ministries propose plan to open one-stop prostitute shops in local shopping centers. A local newspaper in Hungary reported Tuesday that the ministry is brainstorming the idea of allowing prostitutes to recruit, showcase, and sell their business from specified shopping malls. The only provision being that they take their actual "product" elsewhere. These prostitute shopping centers will simply serve as a browsing center and recruiting office for potential buyers to peruse the services available. A letter sent by the ministry to a local businessman proposing this "all-in-one" sex plaza stated that, "There is nothing intrinsically wrong legally with an entertainment center without gratification." Currently, Hungary allows local governments to set so-called "zones of patience" for the country's approximately 20,000 prostitutes, but no municipality has done so yet.
