Nearly five hours after being stillborn following a pre-mature delivery, an infant started breathing again to life when the relatives were carrying her to cemetery.

The 30-year-old mother Aruna Gaikwad from western-Indian city of Mumbai was admitted to Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital on June 15 after being refused from three reputed city hospitals. She suffered from convulsions resulting from high blood-pressure in her pregnancy in the seventh month of gestation.

A Muslim man in the state of West Bengal, India, married his daughter and made her pregnant claiming he had divine sanction for his incestuous act, officials said Monday.

Afazuddin Ali, 36, who has five children, married his 15 year old eldest daughter six months back. He informed his wife Sakina of his decision claiming that he had divine sanction from Allah.

Two prison officers have been sent to jail by a court in northern Vietnam for helping a woman on death row get pregnant, according to an official Thursday.

The People's Court of Hoa Binh City found Nguyen Thuyen and Bui Van Quyet guilty of allowing a male prisoner visit 40 year old Nguyen Thi Oanh to have sex so that she could become pregnant and take advantage of a Vietnamese law which states that pregnant women and those with children under three cannot be put to death.

A local court in India has granted an application of a husband for divorce based on the ground that his wife is HIV positive. The judgment was handed down district judge Rajnish Bhatnagar, who said marriage without sex is "anathema."

He said in his judgment, "The disease being sexually communicable, the petitioner cannot be reasonably expected to live with her and lead a happy married life."
