Sixty-three year-old Mario Ferreyra, former commander of the Argentina police gave an interview to a television crew, and with the camera still rolling, pulled out a gun from his boot and shot himself.

Ferreyra, also known as "El Malevo," was accused of being involved in the kidnapping and torture of dissidents during the 1973-83 dictatorship in Argentina, also known as the "The Dirty War," that has left thousands disappeared.

An 8-year-old Florida third grader who brought a loaded handgun to his school and showed it to a classmate on Friday has been charged by police and suspended by the school.

A Central Florida woman who was carjacked at gunpoint is still getting over the experience that included the gunman dangling her 10-month-old daughter upside down by her feet outside the vehicle window.

The carjacking happened Friday shortly before noon when a gunman ambushed Alyssa Gould in her SUV at an intersection. The carjacker opened the driver's side door and put a gun in her face, then unbuckled her baby and dangled the infant by her feet.
