Father To Win $ 750,000 For Betting On Son's Sports Career

A proud father from West Midlands, England is expected to win over $ 750,000 for placing a series of bets on his son becoming a professional football player. His son, now 16, has been recently drafted in the West Brom soccer team.

According to The Sun, Garry Nicholls, 45, placed a $285 bet on his son becoming a football player some 10 years ago.

Two Women Die When Inflatable Art Exhibit Rises Into Air

An enormous inflatable sculpture breaks away from its restraints at a park in England, killing two women and injuring 13 people.

A gust of wind blew the artwork, called Dreamspace, above the park. Up to 30 people were inside the walk-in space when it began rising into the air.

Lightning Kills Two NJ Teens

Two teenagers are dead and two remain in stable condition after they were struck by lightning. Police say the teens were struck while seeking shelter from a storm.

The teenagers, ages 16 to 19, were playing soccer when they saw a nearby lightning strike and tried to come in from the school field where they were playing.
