Gun Wielding Carjacker Himself Gets Shot In Buttocks

An alleged carjacker who tried to rob a couple off their car ended up being shot himself. Harold Levar Jeffcoat, 29, was shot as the woman sitting in the passenger seat of the car fired five unfocused shots at him in self-defense. But only one could finally make it to the target - right at the buttocks of Jeffcoat.

According to authorities handling the case, the incident happened Saturday night as the couple was getting into the car at a Wal-Mart in suburban northeast Richland County. Just then, Jeffcoat stuck a gun into the stomach of the man and asked him to hand over the car keys.

Shoplifting Suspects Resort To Terrorism In Order To Steal A Toy

In a bid to mask their theft of a toy, four men allegedly triggered a small blast in a Wal-Mart store using swimming pool chemicals. The officers at Henry County Police are shocked at the incident for they say the men perhaps turned a shoplifting misdemeanor into "one of terrorist acts."

Lt. Jason Bolton revealed the incident to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution how the four men entered the Wal-Mart Sunday and after shoplifting a toy, mixed swimming pool chemicals together to create a smoky explosion.

Man Finds Cocaine Baggie In Wal-Mart Kids' Dept.

A 22-year-old man shopping in the toy department of a Wal-Mart Supercenter found a open pack of cigarettes under a shelf and discovered a bag containing a white, powdery substance. Police said the substance was later identified as one gram of cocaine - an amount that could be lethal for a child.

According to AP, police spokeswoman Glynda Chu said, "Being in the toy department, a child could easily have found it, and children will put anything in their mouths."

"Charging Bull" Artist Sues Wal-Mart And North Fork For Copyright Infringement

The artist behind New York City's famous "Charging Bull" bronze statue found in the Wall Street financial district has filed a copyright infringement suit against Wal-Mart stores and North Fork Bancorp.

New York artist Arturo Di Modica filed a case on the U.S. District Court in Manhattan claiming that Wal-Mart is "knowingly and willfully selling and marketing" reproductions of the iconic statue without the artist's permission.

Man's Gun Fires In Wal-Mart Bathroom

A New Hampshire man caused a stir at a Hudson Wal-Mart when his pistol fired in the bathroom.

Charles Masterson, 36 said he was taught to point his Glock semiautomatic at the ceiling when it wasn't in use but the gun went off, scaring a Wal-Mart employee in the next stall. Masterson's 13-year-old son was also in the room.
