Republican Withdraws From Election After Mistakenly Registering As Democrat

A man planning to run in the Republican primary for the West Virginia state Senate has withdrawn after accidentally registering himself as a Democrat, ten years ago.

Ronald Jean Moltere, 64, recently discovered the mistake he made a decade ago. He explained that he never found out about the mistake because he had always voted in the general elections, and never in the primaries.

Robber 'Sorry' For Robbing Wrong House

An unidentified robber broke into a house in Forrest City, Arkansas and took off with a bundle of Christmas gifts and other items, but later left a note to the house's owner saying "Sorry, wrong house."

Police says the robber broke into the house of Joyce Williams. The note was left in an apparent moment of guilt by the robber, officers said.
