Bacterium Uses Strongest Adhesive on Earth

Researchers at Indiana University have announced that Bacterium Caulobacter crescentus use strongest adhesive in the world to stick to river rocks. The grip strength is 2-3 times stronger than the best retail glue provides.

A new study revealed that bacterium uses uses sugar molecules to stay put in rivers, streams and water pipes. However, it is still not clear how the glue actually works. Researchers feel that some special amino acids must be attached to sugar.
