A couple from Shieffield, England who won nearly $15 million from lottery, have been advised not to be too generous with their money.

According to a report by BBC, the couple, Ray and Barbara Wragg, won a total of $14.99 million on the lottery in 2000 and have decided to give away some $11.8 million from their fortune.

A Romanian woman is threatening to sue a local priest after receiving the remains of her dead father by post after a cemetery was sold to developers.

A report by ananova.com says Aurelia Cenusa from Severin, Romania was informed of the clergy in her father's hometown of Darvari, some 300 miles away, that the graveyard where her father was buried, has been sold and his body exhumed.

A man dubbed the "Hairy Christmas Fairy" is reportedly giving away thousands of dollars to help people pay for their Christmas shopping across Cornwall in southwest England.

According to The Sun newspaper, the middle-aged man wears a pink fairy outfit that includes a tutu, a tiara, wings and wand.

A single player or a syndicate has bagged Germany's largest lottery jackpot of $47.4 million dollars. The ticket had cost almost $12 dollars and was purchased in the western region of North Rhine-Westphalia. The prize remains unclaimed.

"If it is one player and not a syndicate, it would be the biggest single win in the history of the German lottery," said Horst Mentrup of Lotto GmbH.
