A man attempting to break a Guinness World Record of most distance crawled had to stop after a few hours due to bleeding knees and sore knuckles.

Forty-eight year-old shipping and receiving clerk Tim James explained that the feat was intended for him to be able to leave "a nice little legacy for my ancestors to come across."

Local police in Kansas City has arrested a 21-year old man for allegedly possessing a highly-hallucinogenic toad.

Police said David Theiss planned to get high by licking the Colorado River Toad's venom glands, which can induce hallucinogenic effects.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers have detained a driver and a man they found hiding in a suitcase.

A CBP officer made the discovery at the Paso Del Norte port of entry in El Paso a little after midnight. The huge suitcase was in the back seat of a 1997 Ford Escort that entered the port from Mexico.

According to the Beer Institute the state of Colorado officially became the largest beer producing state in the country. A recent study commissioned by the Beer Institute and the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) also found that the beer industry, made up of brewers, beer importers, beer distributors, brewer suppliers, and retailers, directly and indirectly contributes $12.4 billion annually to Colorado's economy. The industry's economic impact includes 67,918 jobs - paying $3 billion in wages - as well as $1.6 billion in federal, state, and local taxes.

A pilot with single-engine plane landed on a golf course and walked away from the mishap according to Douglas County sheriff's officials said.

The pilot however was transported to a nearby hospital to undergo medical treatment.
