New Zealand Man Gets Into Trouble For Driving Lawnmower DUI

A 52-year-old man from New Zealand has been charged with driving a lawn mower while drunk, police said Tuesday.

Police spokeswoman Sarah Kennett said Richard Gunn was driving the lawn mower late Monday when police stopped him at a street in the northern New Zealand town of Dargaville.

Dog Poop Tracks Lead Police To Reckless Driver

Local officials apprehended a man suspected of reckless driving by following a trail of the man's footprints made with dog poo.

According to the police report, authorities found a car crashed into the yard of local homeowner Bill McDonald. Investigating the scene, police found a trail of footprints that had been left when the escaped driver stepped in the excrement of most probably one of McDonald's four dogs.

Driver Crashes SUV Into Bedroom, Parks In Driveway

A man driving under the influence of alcohol drove his SUV right into a bedroom, sending the empty bed flying up in the air. According to police reports, 33-year-old Eric Sullivan plowed his Jeep Cherokee through the house of a total stranger early Tuesday morning. The impact left a large hole in the wall of the bedroom of 61-year-old Gloria Jimenez.

WFTV News reported that investigators found almost everything inside the house relatively intact, except for the gaping hole left by the SUV. Jimenez was left unscathed, as she was sleeping in another room in the house when the accident happened, according to UPI.

A dog was taken to a local veterinary clinic in Austria with the animal displaying symptoms including constant vomiting and swaying side to side. The vet said it was apparent the dog was drunk.

"When I got him up on the table, it smelled like a distillery," said Karl Hofbauer of the Oberoesterreichische Nachrichten in the Salzkammergut region.

Man Driving With GPS Lands In Front Of Train

A computer technician driving on the directions of a rental car's Global Positioning System found himself jumping out of the way as a train came barreling through his vehicle.

The driver, Bo Bai, on the orders of the GPS system, turned his vehicle right, crossing train tracks. Upon doing so, the car was caught on the tracks, as the Harlem line train was chugging towards it. Bai attempted to wave to the engineer, but failed to catch his attention.
