The Department of Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO) has identified four U. S. servicemen who have been missing in action (MIA) since World War II. According to officials, 1st Lt. Robert H. Miller; 2nd Lt. Robert L. Hale; Staff Sgt. Joseph A. Berube; and Staff Sgt. Glendon E. Harris; all U. S. Army Air Force servicemen, will be returned home and buried with full military honors.

A uniformed agent from the Department of Sanitation was caught red-handed on a videotape breaking light bulbs in front of a restaurant and thereafter writing a $300 littering ticket to the restaurant's owner. The incident happened on Oct. 19, when a surveillance camera at the H. K. Tea and Sushi restaurant caught the agent dropping several long fluorescent bulbs in front of the restaurant. William Colton, a State Assemblyman and representative of the neighborhood, said he was furious that the Department of Sanitation would target store owners with bogus tickets.

Spain's King Juan Carlos was recently accused of animal cruelty during a trip to Russia. A hunting grounds official made an accusation the king shot and killed a drunken bear in a hunting escapade. The monarch was on a private hunting trip in the Vologda region in northwest Russia in August, when he reportedly slaughtered the bear after it was plied with alcohol and released it into his shooting range.

The U. S. Department of Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO) has identified the remains of a U. S. serviceman, who has been missing in action (MIA) since the Vietnam War. Lt. Cmdr. James E. Plowman, U. S. Navy, of Pebble Beach, California was returned to his family for burial with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery near Washington D. C.
