A mattress store owner is still puzzled after thieves made off with his inflatable sheep. Jim Sather, co-owner of the America's Mattress in Rochester, Minnesota, says someone stole his Serta Mattresses' inflatable 14-foot sheep.

Much to her chagrin, an Oregon woman found more than 20 slithering creatures in her car. Sherry Hart was on a shopping trip to when she found snakes wriggling all inside her coupe. After purchasing her groceries from the store, Hart returned to her car in the parking lot and found a pair of garter snakes on the back seat of her car. To her surprise, she then found more under a floor mat.

A 12-year-old boy managed to fight off a mugger by breaking his nose after the suspected thug jumped from behind a bush and tried to steal his cellular phone. The mugger was mistaken when he thought the young boy would be an easy target for him, only to find out seconds later that he had met his match in the struggle.
