A man with a large "Grand Theft Auto" tattoo on his back was arrested for stealing a car. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said Shylo Kujawski was seen acting suspiciously in a Vancouver neighborhood where cars had been stolen. Police said Kujawski's tattoo was used to identify him as a convicted auto thief.

The beaches of Italy offer a wide variety of facilities including loungers, umbrellas, ice cream and a chance to get a massage or a tattoo. However, the Adriatic resort of Pescara is now offering a new attraction - the singularly unique opportunity to wipe away the sinful hangover from the previous night's partying. Don Vito Canto, 33, who is a priest from a village near Pescara, said he listened to confessions "almost uninterruptedly" from Saturday night through Sunday morning at a improvised shrine on the sands of the beaches.

A recent study reveals 24 percent of American adults between 18 and 50 - nearly one and four - have at least one tattoo and about 36 percent of Americans between 18 to 29 are tattooed. The study shows body piercings are also popular. About one in seven said they are pierced somewhere other than their earlobe and one in three of 18 to 29 year olds are pierced, the AP reports

A woman in Iowa took extreme measures to make sure doctors do not use extraordinary measures to save her life, should she become incapacitated. Mary Wohlford, 80, had "DO NOT RESUSCITATE" tattooed on her chest in February.

It is now legal to get inked in Oklahoma. It became the last state to make tattoos legal when Governor Brad Henry signed legislation Wednesday to license and regulate tattoo artists and parlors. The measure ends a ban on tattooing that had been in effect in Oklahoma since 1963. The new law takes effect November 1st. It allows anyone over 18 to be tattooed legally.
