A Canadian bank robber stripped off his clothes in public after robbing a bank in an effort to escape the police. The man disrobed in the Vancouver suburb of Burnaby, but then was unable to get taxi driver to give him a ride, says Reuters.

As a result of complaints from commuters, Manila authorities have been telling bus and taxi drivers that they need to wash and deodorize every day. Bayani Fernando, chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, says, "We understand that drivers must earn money to support themselves and their respective families. It is only right that in return, these drivers must observe proper hygiene. "

Manila's bus and taxi drivers have been given a friendly reminder to bathe and shower on a daily basis, due to an overwhelming amount of complaints by local commuters who are fed up with the smell at the front of buses, taxis, and trains, saying that the city's 30,000 drivers simply stink. British anti-terrorism detectives escorted a man from a plane after a taxi driver had earlier become suspicious when he started singing along to a track by punk band The Clash. Detectives halted the London-bound flight at Durham Tees Valley Airport in northern England and Harraj Mann, 24, was taken off.
