In an attempt to improve the hand-eye coordination of kids, about 42 elementary schools from Sacramento, California participated in a unique two-day sport stacking competition. Attended by over 300 students, the competition is a game in which participants must stack and unstack 12 specially designed plastic cups in the lowest possible time.

Bus passengers in Israel's second largest city are learning to relax while on their way to work. The initiative is taken by Miri Harovi, a 21-year veteran yoga teacher, who guides passengers to perform a set of relaxation exercises while sitting. According to reports, the passengers perform breathing exercises and those which involve movement of upper body parts as Harovi directs them through a microphone.

A teacher at the Adwick Washington school in Adlington, South Yorks, is in hot water after a fuming parent complained that she photocopied the face of their five-year-old child during a class experiment. It was reported that the unidentified teacher were undertaking a "light and dark" experiment with her students and allowed other children to photocopy their hands.

A high school teacher, who zoomed in for close-up shots of the girls' crotches, was charged under Texas' "peeping Tom" law for filming girls' wrestling matches for his sexual gratification. David Ware, 28, the first-year speech and drama teacher has been charged by police this week on charges of improper visual recording, which carries up to two years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Two mothers and their two teenage daughters were arrested following a brawl in the middle school when one mother drove her already suspended daughter to school to fight a teenage rival. The mothers Ana Rivera and Maribel Santiago are scheduled to be appear in the court on Thursday following a charge of simple assault in connection with Monday's brawl. All four of then were charged with disorderly conduct.
