An apparently upper-caste principal of a primary school in the Bhandara district of Maharshtra, India had a new way to "purify" the school premises and children from a previously employed lower-caste teacher. The principal sprinkled cow's urine in the school premises and on students to "purify" them from lower-caste teacher's "evil spirit. " A startling reminder that caste consciousness is still prevalent in India after more than 50 years of independence.

Australian's may be practically naked during summer but that doesn't mean the countryman's sex lives are hot, hot, hot. According to a worldwide survey conducted by condom makers Durex, Australian's aren't having as much sex as their neighbors and rivals New Zealand, but are having more bedtime lovin' than the Japanese.

Sick of the ever increasing amount of dog poop on the roads and parks, a bunch of preschoolers in Malmo, Sweden, have begun a neighborhood protest against it. On Wednesday, the young protestors marched on the streets in an attempt to force dog owners to scoop the poop.

Police arrested two eighth-graders on felony charges after they allegedly attempted to poison their science teacher by adding a fabric freshener into her soda. According to Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the boy and girl allegedly added the harmful ingredient in 51-year-old Jacqueline Hutchins's drink but she did not suffer any harm. She immediately noticed a different taste when she sipped her Pepsi on Friday.

A 16-year-old high school student was ejected from a Continental Airlines flight because she was coughing. Rachel Collier's mother, who was eagerly awaiting her daughter's return in Hawaii, was infuriated when she got a call from one of the trip supervisors telling her that Rachel was not allowed to travel from New York because she was coughing. Stephanie Collier, Rachel's mom thought that it was some kind of joke as April Fools Day is round the corner, but was shocked to discover the truth. Rachel, who was returning home to Honolulu after a class trip to Washington, D. C. , and New York boarded the nonstop flight to Hawaii with 40 classmates and two teachers.
