A 16-year-old high school student was ejected from a Continental Airlines flight because she was coughing. Rachel Collier's mother, who was eagerly awaiting her daughter's return in Hawaii, was infuriated when she got a call from one of the trip supervisors telling her that Rachel was not allowed to travel from New York because she was coughing. Stephanie Collier, Rachel's mom thought that it was some kind of joke as April Fools Day is round the corner, but was shocked to discover the truth. Rachel, who was returning home to Honolulu after a class trip to Washington, D. C. , and New York boarded the nonstop flight to Hawaii with 40 classmates and two teachers.

An eighth grader from Wilson Middle School has been suspended and might face expulsion for putting urine in a teacher's coffee pot, Muncie Community Schools officials have said. The act was brought to the knowledge of school authorities on Friday after the teacher noticed a strange odor in the coffee. Another student who overheard classmates discussing the act also reported it to the officials.

The Ladysmith Junior School in Exeter, Devon, U. K. was forced to issue an apology after parents complained the teachers have ruined the Christmas of their tiny tots by telling them that Santa Claus does not exist. One fuming parent said, "My wife and I make a special effort to keep the belief in Santa in our daughter's mind as we believe it adds to the magic of Christmas for her and her four-year-old brother.

A 15-year-old girl in Britain has reportedly given birth in West Yorkshire in front of teachers and classmates at her catholic school after being unaware of her pregnancy. The unidentified pupil, who is studying for her GCSEs at St Joseph's Catholic College in Bradford, West Yorkshire, went into labor at the start of the school day on Friday. The school staff called for the paramedics but the labor had progressed too far to move her to hospital.
