A 5-year old boy aimed and shot dead a 445-pound bear while on a hunting trip with his grandfather Sunday. Tre Merritt, the toddler and hunter, recounted his experience while he was up on a tree stand with his grandfather Mike and saw the bear come into view.

Failing to free himself after his stick-on beard got caught in the rope he was using to descend from the ceiling of a shopping mall in Texas, Santa Claus had to eventually rely on the heroic efforts of firemen. Hanging 30 feet above from the ground inside the shopping mall, Santa had to be thrown a pair of scissors to cut his beard free from the rope but it only proved futile as Santa failed to extricate himself free from the rope.

A school boy is suing New York City's Department of Education (DOE) after it refused to allow him to retake an entrance test for an elite high school. The lawsuit claims he had to walk out of the original test at Staten Island Tech because he was distracted by boisterous boys.

A 40-year-old Indian woman who claimed Mother Teresa miraculously cured her cancer, has accused Missionaries of Charity nuns of abandoning her in poverty stricken situation. The Missionaries of Charity, a congregation founded by Mother Teresa in eastern Indian, 310 miles from Kolkata in 1950, was busy preparing for the Albanian-born 10th death anniversary Wednesday.
