Three teenage boys are facing charges for petty theft after stealing car ornaments from their neighbor's cars and selling them on eBay.
Authorities seized more than 80 stolen emblems from one of the teenager's homes.
Similar items are selling on eBay for prices ranging from $25 to $75.
Two teens were charged with 11 counts each of petty theft, and 10 counts each of criminal mischief. The third teen was charged with 16 counts of petty theft and 15 counts of criminal mischief.
Detective Brian Goolsby says that the teens stole the hood ornaments after Hurricane Wilma knocked out electricity.
"All the parents swear the kids are straight-A students, have never been in trouble before and had no idea they were sneaking out at night."
