W.J. Brown - All Headline News Police arrested a 17-year-old Sammamish, Washington teen Tuesday they alledge was trying defraud his insurance company. Apparently the suspect didn't really like his aimed at junking his $42,000 2002 BMW M3 that much... He really wanted to upgrade to a new 2005 Bentley Continental GT coupe. According to Michael Chiu, a police spokesperson, the teen reported his expensive BMW stolen while working at his job at a restaurant in downtown Bellevue on Monday evening. The car was found by Snoqualmie police the next morning, at an unspecified location, and arrested four men, both young adults and juveniles, who were in the process of stripping the cars parts. The foursome were arrested for first-degree possession of stolen property. After their arrested they implicated the car's owner, who they claim wanted his BMW stolen so he could collect insurance money and buy the Bentley. The teenager was interviewed by police and released to his parents. Investigation details will be forwarded to the King County Prosecutor's Office for investigation of fraud. The Bentley 2005 Bentley Continental GT coupe, that the teen wanted, has a 552-horsepower engine and a top speed of 190 mph, runs about $159,000, nicely equiped.
