A Pennsylvania teenager is off the hook following a senior prank.A court found Matthew Pattison innocent on a charge of disorderly conduct.Last February when students at his school Oley Valley High were being evacuated, the young student donned a gorilla mask and climbed onto the roof of his school.
During the evacuation hijinks, police, the FBI and a bomb squad all responded.
Prosecutors in Berks County charged the teen with creating a dangerous and potentially deadly situation. However, the jury disagreed and sided with the defense deeming the stunt a harmless prank.Pattison continued his senior year graduating with honors and is now pursuing a degree in architecture at Penn State.
