Authorities announce David Rodriguez, 18, was arrested after allegedly kidnapping two young children to perform a demonic ritual in the hopes it would bring back his ex-girlfriend.Authorities say Rodriguez is being held on $500,000 bond.

Official reports indicate the teen snatched a 15-year-old child and her little brother Friday outside a South Side library, with the intention to carve a pentagram in the girl's chest.Cook County Assistant State's Attorney Tracy Senica says Rodriguez apparently only needed the girl, so he released her 8-year-old brother, who then informed people on the street about the kidnapping.
