A 70-year-old German shoplifter tried to break free from the police by biting them to no avail. His main problem in the escape attempt was he had forgotten to put his teeth on. Police tried arresting him when he failed to pay fine for shoplifting.

The worst thing to do after biting a police officer in order to avoid arrest is having to realize that you left your dentures at home. Gustav Ernegger, 70, did just that. The retired German man tried to get away from police after having stolen a t-shirt in a clothing shop by giving an officer a bite on the arm but only left a wet mark from his gums instead.

Three people are facing jail time after they put up a rope across a street to knock motorcycle riders off their vehicle; in an apparent move to keep the noise level down in their neighborhood. According to defense attorney Dennis Lempert, "Apparently the rope was supposed to slow people down. "

A survey released Friday shows more than 60 percent of Britons used makeshift items such as screwdrivers, scissors and earrings to remove food between their teeth. The National Dental Survey found that people used any nearby items to pick their teeth.

Cleaning up the debris after a deadly cyclone may not be an easy task to begin with, but having to deal with a pesky crocodile playing with a chainsaw, might make things even worse. Local reports in Australia indicate a frustrated crocodile took matters into his own teeth by taking hold of a noisy chainsaw in the midst of the clean-up and chased the operator up a tree.
