A woman who was making additional income by growing chicken and selling eggs to supplement her disability income was constrained after complaints of crowing roosters from disturbed neighbors. The northwest Arkansas community of Rogers came up with new laws and restrictions in keeping birds at home in the city limits.

The world's tallest woman is currently being treated for a brain tumor which doctors say has contributed to her excess height. Yao Defen, a 36-year-old from China was hospitalized in Shanghai early Thursday morning. Yao who is 7. 74 ft tall is believed to have outgrown America's Sandy Allen who is currently listed in the Guinness book of records. New reports say Yao has beaten Sandy by 5 cm.

A $42 T-shirt worn by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's new baby has sparked a wave of orders at a Denver boutique which sold the apparel. According to the AP, the T-shirt worn by Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt on the cover page of People's Magazine was sent by Belly, a shop in Denver's tony Cherry Creek district, to Jolie along with some maternity clothes in January.

A circus woman also known as The Woman of Steel has appealed for 500 phone books to ensure the continuity of her show in northern England. German-born Sylvia Brumbach, who rips up telephone directories as part of her act, told Reuters that she was about to run out of books after destroying over half of the stock she had at Blackpool Tower Circus, reports Reuters.

"Ice Bear" Lewis Gordon Pugh has broken his own world record for the longest ice water swim on Friday. Lewis swam for 1. 2 kilometres inside the Norwegian mountains where the water temperature in the lake, about 300km northeast of Bergen, was just above zero degrees.
