A two-year-old girl's temper tantrum got her and her family removed from their flight home to Boston from Fort. Myers, Fla.

An Airtran spokeswoman said Elly Kulesza was climbing under her seat, hitting her parents and refused to buckle up during boarding. She said Airtran was only following Federal Aviation Administration rules that say children age 2 and older must have their own seat and be buckled into their seat by take-off.

But parents Julie and Gerry Kulesza said they were not given adequate time to console their daughter before being removed from the flight. They planned to fly home on Jan. 14 but instead caught another flight the next day.

Julie Kulesza told the AP, "We weren't given an opportunity to hold her, console her or anything."

Airtran reimbursed the family for the flight. They were also given three plan tickets to any destination Airtran flies to but now the family are the ones who are inconsolable. They vowed to never fly Airtran again.
