A Texas police officer is fighting being suspended for "something he did for the city." That something was having sex with prostitutes.
Officer Keith Breiner was working undercover in a sting operation that was focusing on prostitution. In the course of duty, he testified in court that he had oral and vaginal sex, as well as engaging in manual stimulation with women at two different spas.
Breiner is now reportedly in court fighting his suspension because he says he was told he had to have sexual relations with the women in order to get the toughest convictions.
Breiner was suspended indefinitely without pay along with another officer, Lt. David Kiker, who is not contesting the suspension. Two commanding officers were suspended for five days for not telling the department heads that Breiner and Kiker were going to such extreme lengths to build the case.
The married Breiner insisted in court that he did not want to have sex with the women and that he had trouble becoming aroused. He did, however, climax, but told the court that he did not enjoy himself and he was just doing his job, which he was paid to do.
Breiner's suspension is being upheld as his court case continues. The police chief has testified that he didn't believe that Breiner's supervisor told him to have sex to make the cases.
