A poll commissioned by 20th Century Fox revealed the Star Wars weapon, the Light saber, is considered the best movie weapon in movie history. The weapon beat out other historic weapons made memorable in several movies, such as the crossbow from Robin Hood, the gold gun from James Bond: The Man With The Golden Gun, and the legendary machine gun used by Tony Montana in the classic gangster flick, Scarface.

Experts in UFOs are trooping to the once quiet farming community in Stephenville, Texas after receiving reports that at least a dozen of its residents have been seeing mysterious lights in the sky lately. Among those who have claimed to have seen the bright lights hovering the skies were a pilot, a policeman and local business owners. Some even claim seeing fighter jets chasing the unidentified craft when the lights appeared on January 8. However, the local Air Force base issued a statement saying none of its planes were in the area at the given time.

Residents of a Texas community found themselves stunned by a celestial scene involving what many believe was a UFO. Eyewitness accounts told of a large, silent, object with flashing lights, with residents insisting that it was lower to the ground than an airplane.

Denver is the most "lustful" city in America judging by the number of contraceptives sold in the city compared with its population size. According to a ranking made by Forbes Magazine and research firm ACNielsen, Denver is followed by San Antonio, Texas and Portland, Oregon, both tied for second place. The other states in the list are Seattle; Salt Lake City; Washington, D. C. ; Columbus, Ohio; Cincinnati; Baltimore; and Buffalo.

A worker at a concrete factory in Manor, Texas on Wednesday cut off his own arm that got caught in a machinery to free himself and survived. The 52-year-old man, whose name was withheld, almost died on the scene but responding paramedics rushed him to the Brackenridge Hospital, where he is in critical but stable condition.
