For those that worry they might eat their Christmas dinner alone this year, they now have reason to fear no more. Courtesy of a Dutch art company, a new DVD will allow a lonesome dinner to become one full of holiday fun and good cheer with dinner companions eating, drinking, and engaging in conversation. The DVD will feature actors reading out different scripts in other for people to pick out which type of people they would want best.

The Gloucester New Olympus Theater in Gloucester, south-west England, was forced to pull-out from the act a pantomime genie because he has grown to fat that he keeps getting stuck in the trap door. Alan Myatt was suppose to appear on stage to play the part of a pantomime genie in a play, through a trap door, but his 56-inch waistline will not let him.

Pranksters release two live snakes during a showing of "Snakes on a Plane" in a Phoenix, Arizona theater. AMC Entertainment Inc. spokeswoman Melanie Bell says two diamondback rattlesnakes were set loose during the movie, which is about deadly snakes terrorizing passengers on a plane. She tells Reuters, "One was found in the parking lot during the show, and the other in the movie theater. They were both removed, and no one was harmed. "

An actor portraying Winston Churchill in a new play puts out the great Brit's famous cigar in order to comply with Scotland's new anti-smoking laws. Officials threatened to shut down the production if Mel Smith lit up the cigar during the play, called "Allegiance. " Scotland passed tough anti-smoking laws in March, in an effort to reduce heavy drinking and smoking.

A theater house in Sao Paolo, Brazil is making waves after launching an innovative way to stage a play. Inside a bathroom. An article published by the Folha de Sao Paulo said the play titled "Thorough Search," is being staged inside one of the bathrooms at the Renaissance Theater. Because of the limited space, only 30 people can watch the play during its showing.
