Chicago Comedy Company (C3) announces the world premiere of a new clean content, multimedia, interactive improvisational comedy theater, the first in the United States. The newly built C3 club is located at Streets of Woodfield Mall, and has developed a unique concept in entertainment for families, adults, and teens.

On Saturday, someone dressed up as Darth Vader robbed The Showplace Eight Theater in Springfield, Illinois. According to police, the unarmed man blended in with moviegoers, pushed an employee away from the register, grabbed the cash inside and ran into the woods.

On Friday night, Preston Henn, owner of the popular South-Florida based Swap Shop, was tasered and arrested after tackling a Broward County Sheriff Office command staff member. Police were called to The Swap Shop after receiving several civil disturbance calls involving Henn, who was trying to get a vendor to leave the premises. When police tried to calm Henn down, he walked into his office and locked himself in. Twenty minutes later, Henn walked out and knocked over BSO District Chief George Jarboe.
