A new research study revealed that viewing advertisements of thin or skinny models may bring stress for some women.

According to the study, women who have physical appearance or image problem are at a greater rise for negative effects from media images.

Researcher Gayle Bessenoff studied 112 college women in an introductory psychology course at an US college.

Describing the results of the study, Gayle Bessenoff said: "Women who already have low opinions of their physical appearance are at an even greater risk for negative effects from media images."
