Marijuana packaged in yellow, smiley faced gumballs do not have the federal drug agents laughing.

In January, the "Greenades" gumballs at Howard High School in Ellicott City were found by officials.

Just recently, the DEA released an intelligence bulletin about the gumballs.

Gregory Lee, a retired supervisory special agent of the Drug Enforcement Agency, told The Baltimore Examiner, "It's a new idea and it's new to the DEA. When it comes to drug dealing, you're only limited by your imagination."

After a teacher told an officer that she saw a student give a bag that she believed to contain drugs to another student, the police charged two students with distribution of drugs on school property and charged one other student with possession of marijuana.

The bag, which contained two candy balls wrapped in foil, were seized by the police.

On the foil, the instructions stated that users were to chew the candy balls for 30 minutes to one hour before they wanted to be high and to chew the candy balls for as long as possible before swallowing.
