A snake was found in a Sydney Airport women's toilet presumably after a reptile smuggler chickened out in transporting the slithering reptile by customs officers. The snake, identified as a non-venomous 3-foot long green tree python native to South-East Asia, startled a bathroom attendant who was cleaning a ladies toilet on Sunday afternoon.

Two motel housekeepers get into a fight armed with cleaning supplies. One gets rushed to the hospital with injuries, while the other lands herself in the slammer. The women accused each other of taking toilet rolls from each other's cleaning carts at a motel in Charleston, South Carolina. The debate got heated and police were called to break up the fight that broke out with one armed with a plunger and the other fighting back with a mop.

An argument over toilet paper overflowed into a fight, with the maids cleaning each other's clocks - one with a mop with other with a plunge. The scuffle sent one motel maid to the hospital and another to jail. According to police, the maids at the Siesta Motor Lodge in North Charleston armed themselves with a plunger and mop after accusing each other of taking toilet paper from each other's cleaning carts.

Sponsored by Cincinnati-based Cintas Corp. , manufacturer of Sanis restroom supplies, the America's Best Restroom contest was started in 2001 to spotlight businesses that maintain "exceptional hygiene, with style" in their potties. Nominations can be made by anyone, and about 30 are received annually.

A Florida man is charged with fatally beating his roommate with a sledgehammer and a claw hammer because there was no toilet paper in the home they shared. Marion County Sheriff's Office Capt. Thomas Bibb reports Franklin Crow, 56, was charged Monday with homicide in the death of Kenneth Matthews, 58.
