A toy manufacturer is hoping their news set of toys, versions of versions of microbes including gonorrhea and syphilis, will be a hit for Christmas. Giant Microbes, a toy manufacturer based in Connecticut has turned microscopic images of viruses and bugs, which also include malaria, mad cow disease, salmonella, Ebola, acne, rabies, black death and the good old influenza virus into 5-to-7 inch dolls.

Firemen took more than a hour in freeing a three-year-old Harry Potter fanatic from a traffic cone he had place on his head so he could look like idol, a local paper reported Monday. According to the report, Charlie Thomas was playing with his sisters when he suddenly placed the cone on his head in his effort to impress his family thinking the traffic cone would make him look like Harry Potter under a wizard hat.

Three would-be copper thieves literally had to run for their lives when the picked the city's most dangerous place to steal. Paul Perry, Pamela Puckett and Marc Black picked up a police dog training center to steal some copper but before they could succeed in their act, they were caught both by the deputies and the canines. Four dog handlers were just showing up for an afternoon training session inside the "K-9 training facility" off Dawsonville Highway at about 4 p. m. Wednesday with their three police dogs behind them when they came face to face with the burglars.

The prisoners at the Scott City Jail in Missouri invented a new method to cover up a hole in a prison cell when they used pancake batter and toothpaste. The inmates reportedly used this new method to cover a hole they made to allow a female inmate to slide into the next cell and join a male inmate. They first removed a block from the wall, after making a digging tool with a nail. They also used a wire from a light fixture and a toothbrush as their other tools.

A 2-pound kitten was finally rescued from a storm drain in West Virginia, with the help of two fire trucks, five firefighters, several animal rescuers and about 250 gallons of water. Firefighters tried coaxing it out with food and encouraging words. They also tried flashing lights and banging tools on the pipe to scare the kitten out, reported CNN.
