A Montreal hospital has been ordered to pay $45,000 to a woman who had an abortion, and then had twins. Saoudat Batoukaeva went to St-Luc Hospital to have an abortion seven years ago, but it didn't take, CBC News reported. Hospital staff confirmed three weeks after the procedure that Batoukaeva was still pregnant.

John Suhrhoff found a Louis Vuitton bag on a Sausalito park bench, but what he found inside was more of a shocker: a 12-carat diamond ring, pearl and emerald jewelry, a Cartier watch and about $500 in cash. In total, the contents were worth $1 million. Suhrhoff decided to take the bag to the police Monday afternoon. The bag is now on its way back to the hands of a Toronto family, who visited northern California for a wedding.

Police say a man who broke into a Toronto home passed out on the coach, leaving police with an easy arrest. The homeowner returned Sunday afternoon to find his basement window broken and immediately called police.
