A pigeon that landed on a high-tension electricity wire resulted in a short-circuit that stopped Denmark's train network from functioning. The bird is presumed to have been fried on the overhead cables ensuing the outage in the train's main line after.

With eight months separating the two incidents, a train has killed a father and his son. According to a Malaysian newspaper, 34 year old V. Marathai was cut in half when a moving train hit him early Friday in the northern Malaysian town of Ipoh.

The U. S. Army's 1st Infantry Division, often called the "Big Red One," will leave its host country of Germany at Victory Park on Leighton Barracks. The Big Red One will return to the United States and officially make camp at Fort Riley, Kansas, on August 1. The move to Kansas means the division will help train foreign security forces in support of operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

It was supposed to be one of the most memorial days of her life, but a bride found herself unable to even make it through the front doors of the church because her dress was too big. It took over twenty people to push Carly O'Brien's 8-foot wide dress out the door after over an hour and a half.

More than 50 public toilet cleaners in Singapore are folding their sleeves to take up an intensive 3-day course that will upgrade their status and provide them with extra skills required to clean the city's toilets. The training is part of a nationwide sanitation campaign that seeks to give the city a facelift.
