S. troops, but critics are now calling it a PR move, after it is revealed the questions President Bush asked on a teleconference call Thursday were choreographed to coincide with his goals for the war, and Saturday's vote on a new Iraqi constitution. Allison Barber, deputy assistant defense secretary said, coaching the soldiers before Bush arrived, "This is an important time. The president is looking forward to having just a conversation with you. "

A train passing noisily over his head fails to waken a sleeping man in Russia, the InterfaxThe engineer saw somebody on the line and braked sharply. Rescuers tried to pull the drunken sleeper from underneath the carriages, but failed, and the train had to continue driving to free him.

Police are shocked that a man was not killed after his car was crushed, twisted and dragged by a train. Porter County Sheriff's Department officers say "it was a miracle" Kenneth Liptak Jr. , not only survived the crash, but also managed to crawl out of the mangled metal and walk around Saturday morning, The Associated Press reports.

South African police say hundreds of looters clashed with police over the weekend at the site of a beer train wreck, escalating violence that left one dead. The train carrying 180,000 crates of beer from South African Breweries derailed Friday night near Waterval Boven, 124 miles east of Johannesburg.
