For the second time in less than a month, a 1-year-old red panda was discovered missing from her exhibit in Virginia's Zoo Saturday. Earlier in June 21, Yin went missing on the day of her first appearance for two hours until she emerged from a nearby tree. Yin, that resembles a raccoon with red, white and black fur, was first discovered near the bison exhibit, until she dashed to a tree near the back of the duck pond. She also was found hiding in a tree near the duck pond after she escaped the first time.

The 9-1-1 dispatcher in Canada was surprised to receive a call from a man in north of Toronto informing him about two elephants wandering through his neighbourhood early Thursday morning. It was later found that the massive giants, named Bunny and Suzy, had escaped from a circus at about 3 a. m. in Newmarket, a town of 75,000 people near Toronto. The pachyderms, who perform at the Ray Twinney Complex with the Garden Bros. Circus, were strolling around freely munching on trees, shrubs and flowers.

A ritual performed by a local witch doctor in a northern Malaysian village sparked rumors that space aliens had been buried in the neighborhood cemetery. The New Straits Times newspaper reports that a group of four people, comprising a man in his 50s, a woman and two youths, buried six unidentified bodies in a single grave. When the grave digger inquired about the bodies, the old man in the group told him that they were aliens.

Ollie the parrot may be able to fly, but whether he can handle such lofty heights is another matter. The Scottish parrot had to be rescued from a tree top by firefighters after he escaped from a skylight in his home in Musselburgh, near Edinburgh. The Australian Red Sided Eclectus flew for roughly a mile before landing in a 50 foot high tree top. Ollie became so paralyzed by fear that he stayed in the tree top for four days.

A strange "ghostly" image captured by a surveillance camera at the First Judicial District courthouse downtown Santa Fe has left many people dumbstruck and confused over the source of the image. The sheriff's deputies, lawyers, clerks and judges are speculating the image to be that of a ghost while many others are of an opinion that it could be a reflection from a passing car or possibly a piece of fluff from a cottonwood tree.
