It was Homer Simpson's dream come true when a tractor trailer, carrying 2000 cases of beer, overturned in Northern Toronto's highway 401, covering the road in a sea of frosty brew.

The accident occurred in the early morning hours when a small car collided with the truck. Rescuers worked to free a woman trapped in the small vehicle.

"Believe it or not with this crushed car, the young lady driving it is going to be okay," Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Cam Wooley told CP24 news.

Sand was used to absorb the beer, which was scooped up into bins and sent back to the supplier to be destroyed.
