An overturned truck spilled 165,000 eggs onto a Washington highway. Witnesses say the mess looked like a giant omelet.
A tractor-trailer carrying the eggs crashed into a guard rail and spilled its load. Officials closed an exit ramp for several hours while the mess was cleaned up.
Officials used kitty litter to clean up the mess, about 250 pounds of it. The driver of the truck fled the scene and has not been found. Police say he will likely face charges.
The eggs were on their way to a hatchery in Maryland.
