A 48-year-old man was arrested Monday morning after he repeatedly rammed his pickup truck into his estranged wife's home, causing serious damages to another parked vehicle and the house itself. Eric D. Marienau was arrested without incident and was charged with aggravated assault, drunken driving, and other felony charges. According to police, Marienau parked his full-size Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck next to his wife's house, went over to the fence and began shouting for her to bring him a cigarette.

A semi-truck driver, who tried to snack on a couple of doughnuts while driving, ended up rolling his truck on its side, spilling a load of specialty sunflower seeds all over the road. Though Merv Bontrager of Milo suffered few injuries on his knuckles he said his "ego was bruised. " The accident took place when Bontrager was tasked to fetch the specialty sunflowers from a farm near Newburg to an elevator in Pingree, in south central North Dakota.

An Arkansas State Police trooper got suspicious when he spotted a truck with much of its windshield obstructed by a large, stuffed monkey. The trooper was prompted to search the vehicle after he could smell marijuana. Police said the trooper found more than 2,100 hydrocodone pills, 70 Xanax pills and 85 Soma pills worth over $130,000 in the truck. According to police reports, the 2003 Chevrolet pickup was pulled over near the 247 eastbound mile marker just before 12:30.

Jeffrey Francis Cullen, a Vietnam war veteran, was sentenced to five months in prison and was put on five years of intensive probation after a Mohave County Judge found him guilty of aggravated assault against firefighters. The incident dates back to August last year when a fire crew went to Cullen's home to extinguish an alleged tree fire reported by him but instead found a cat stuck on the tree and Cullen demanding to rescue it. According to police reports, Cullen, 59, told firefighters he had wanted a cat rescued from his tree and knew they would only respond to a fire call.

It took nearly six hours for Hungarian police to collect almost five thousand rabbits that blocked a highway Monday, when a truck that was carrying them collided with another vehicle and overturned. Almost 500 rabbits were killed after the traffic came to a halt on the M1 highway, the main road between the capitals of Hungary and Austria.
