To convey his anger at people who wouldn't turn off their bright headlights, a trucker started throwing iron ore at passing motorists over the past three months.

According to Geauga County Sheriff deputies, the accused trucker Glenn Rogers Jr., 40, of Elyria, confessed he was annoyed at westbound drivers who wouldn't dim their high beams as he passed them on state Route 422 about 25 miles southeast of Cleveland.

Sheriff Dan McClelland told AP that Rogers pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of vehicular vandalism in Chardon Municipal Court on Wednesday.

However, he is expected to be charged on more counts as some of the motorists he targeted were injured.

"This was not an accident, something accidentally falling out of his hand," McClelland told AP. "This was a deliberate act."

The matter came into picture after the department received more than 30 calls of broken windshields caused by the rocks since September.
