The most exclusive and expensive penthouse in Dubai will soon be sold for more than $30 million.

Al Nakheel Properties and the Trump Organization announced Monday that one of the two exclusive penthouses in Trump International Hotel & Tower under construction here will be breaking property records by selling for more than $30 million.

The earlier record was $12 million for a penthouse at the Burje Tower.

Besides the penthouses, the Tower is selling over 300 freehold residential apartments between 890 to 7,500 sq. feet in size. Pre-sales for some units are said to be in the vicinity of around $3,000 per square foot.

The 60-story Trump Tower is a luxury hotel and residential building which features a split-linked tower with an open core design. It was designed by acclaimed British interior designer Kelly Hoppen.

The stainless steel and glass structure is set to become the tallest structure on the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah.

The $600 million project is the first joint venture between real estate developer Al Nakheel and American business magnate Donald Trump.
