Not about to run out of ideas, beverage company Jones Soda Co. is giving a new twist to ham this Christmas season - it's in liquid form. The Seattle-based firm launches Sunday is holiday-themed limited-edition flavored soda packs and ham-flavor soda is included in the outrageous roster this year.

A 44-year-old school bus driver in East Hartford, Connecticut had to be hospitalized on Tuesday when a wild turkey crashed through the windshield of her bus on Interstate 84. AP reports that the bus was carrying 36 fifth graders and four adults on a field trip from Windham when a wild turkey collided with it at about 9:35 a. m. The bus driver, Sheryl Dearborn was treated for lacerations to her head and face at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

A cat survived a two-hour flight to Toronto and a one-hour car ride inside its owner's suitcase, even though security at St. John Airport had scanned the bag before boarding. The cat, named Ginger, had apparently slipped into owner Mary Martell's suitcase while she was packing and wasn't noticed until Martell got to her Niagara-on-the-Lake hotel.

A Pittsburgh zoo's 2-year-old polar bear is recovering Monday after root canal surgery. Last month, zookeepers at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium examined the bear after they noticed that he seemed lethargic. They discovered that Koda's quadrant mandibular canine - a big, fang-like tooth on the lower right side of his jaw - was infected. Dr. Tom Klein, a veterinary dentist at Ohio State University who operated on Koda, said the infection in the tooth could have spread to the jaw if it wasn't dealt with.

A wild turkey burst through the window at a home in Bloomington, and one family says its simply not funny. Thanksgiving morning, the turkey smashed into the Cobbs' family dining room window, where Sandy says, "It's terrible. My house is a disaster!"
