Jordan's Queen Rania has urged her country's people to stick to a healthy eating regime during Ramadan, an Islamic holy month where eating between dawn and sunset is forbidden. The queen is concerned that people are tending to overeat after sunset because they have deprived themselves of food during the day, and is backing the government media campaign to encourage people to steer clear of heavy, rich meals in the evening.

Robbie Williams says he was visited by an alien just after he'd written a song about extraterrestrial beings. The "Angels" singer - who is fascinated by intergalactic beings and goes on UFO spotting camping trips - claims a strange light flew into the Los Angeles recording studio where he was working and then went back out again as he looked on in amazement.

Bowing to pressure from major Canadian political parties, TV networks excluded Green Party Leader Elizabeth May from television debates. The only party which rooted for May's inclusion was the Liberal Party. Network officials from CBC, Radio-Canada, TVA, Global and CTV said the leaders of the parties hinted of a pullout if May will be included in the line-up slated Oct. 1 and 2.

Professional and controversial wrestler Chris "The Skunk" Antal is in a unique match with an unusual opponent - Marlborough City Mayor Nancy Stevens. The two are at odds after the Marlborough Cable Trust decided to take off the air Pro Wrestling Monthly over Antal's loss of a video camera equipment loaned from the station. Stevens is the chairman of the trust.
