Chicago (AHN)- The new "Twinkies Cookbook" goes beyond desserts by featuring recipes like Twinkie Burrito or Twinkie Lasagna.

Theresa Cogswell collected the 50 recipes for the book , many of which were submitted to Hostess in celebration of Twinkies' 75th anniversary celebration last year.

Cogswell told Illinois' Daily Southtown newspaper that her favorites include a recipe for a berry-laden Patriotic Twinkie Pie in colors red, white and blue.

Cogswell explains its an attractive centerpiece for a Fourth of July picnic, which you can also eat for dessert.
