In a move lacking Jedi wisdom, two British star wars fans were hospitalized Sunday after a duel using home made light sabers constructed from flourescent light tubes filled with liquid fuel.

The pair, a 17-year-old female and her 20-year old male companion, were filming the duel as a tribute to the climactic face off between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, featured in the latest "Revenge of the Sith."

The pair were taken to Hemel Hempstead Hospital suffering from severe burns.
