Authorities don't know why two men were stealing pallets of flour from a milling company in Albany, New York.

But Horizon Milling authorities reportedly became suspicious after their inventory came up missing tens of thousands of dollars worth of flour over a period of several months.

After resorting to surveillance cameras they discovered that employee Franklin Johnson of Ghent loaded an extra pallet of flour onto the bakery truck of David Barna from Holyoke, Mass each time Barna picked up flour.

Johnson, 45, and Barna, 42, were each charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and arraigned in city Criminal Court for on charges of stealing more than 150 bags of flour valued at $1,957.

Horizon Mills officials think the over the past several months the pair might have been responsible for taking all of the missing 2,000 to 5,000 bags.

Police reportedly don't know what the duo might have done with all the flour.
