An enormous inflatable sculpture breaks away from its restraints at a park in England, killing two women and injuring 13 people.

A gust of wind blew the artwork, called Dreamspace, above the park. Up to 30 people were inside the walk-in space when it began rising into the air.

Witness Mark Spooner tells BBC television, "All of a sudden it just started rising like a balloon... (It was) flinging people all over. Then it just seemed to flip over in the air."

Two women, aged 68 and 38, were walking through the exhibit with children when it began rising. They were killed in the freak accident. A three-year girl was seriously injured.

Police say in a statement, "(The) inflatable exhibition broke its moorings and tipped those using it on to the ground."

Artist Maurice Agis designed the exhibit, which is made out of plastic sheeting. It is half the size of a soccer field and has walls that change color as visitors walk through.
