A couple both wearing goth outfits were banned by a driver from boarding his bus, with his reason being that there were no "freaks" or "dogs" allowed on the vehicle.
The couple, 25-year old Dani Graves and 18-year old Tasha Maltby, said that the driver had refused to let them board the bus on three past occasions.
They lodged a complaint at the manager of the bus depot, who promised to take care of their concern.
However, a second incident occurred in which the driver refused to let any other passenger board the bus until the two got off.
In response, Paul Adcock of the bus company, Arriva Yorkshire, said that the company takes any allegations of discrimination very seriously.
